Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience, including at least 1 recent year in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Coronary Care Unit, or Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit; previous CVICU experience in work history; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; at least 1 year of Epic experience; travel nursing experience; proficiency in arterial line management, blood product administration, central and peripherally inserted central catheter care, continuous sedation, cardiac and vasoactive medication titration, ventilator management, noninvasive ventilation, high-flow nasal cannula, arterial blood gas interpretation, dysrhythmia management, intravenous insulin protocols, renal replacement therapy, intra-aortic balloon pump and Impella support, cardiac surgery recovery, infection prevention, isolation precautions, phlebotomy, and surgical wound care. Preferred Qualifications: Trauma intensive care experience and experience with advanced cardiac critical care procedures, including continuous renal replacement therapy, transvenous and epicardial pacing, pulmonary artery catheter monitoring, therapeutic temperature management, and ventricular assist devices.
