Required Qualifications: At least 24 months of current experience in Progressive Care, Stepdown, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, or Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing; active Iowa or compact/multistate nursing license; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; proficiency with heparin, insulin, furosemide, amiodarone, diltiazem, and digoxin drips; ability to interpret electrocardiograms and manage telemetry-related responsibilities, including rhythm strips and dysrhythmia assessments; experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system; successful completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia Assessment with a passing score of 80% during onboarding. Preferred Qualifications: De-escalation certification, including Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), SAMA, MAB, or MOAB; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; prior hospital or medical center experience.
