Responsibilities • Sweep, mop, strip, and wax floors and vacuum and shampoo rugs and carpets in assigned areas as needed • Clean rest rooms, offices, and replenish supplies • Wash windows, walls, and other assigned areas • Use of window pole when required • Pick up trash, empty garbage containers, and remove all trash to the area of disposal • Sanitize trash containers as necessary to meet Health Department requirements • Operate vacuum cleaner, buffer, Hi-speed buffers, shampoo machines, etc. Preferred Experience: Certificates related to custodial/cleaning service work Certificates related to general maintenance Experience: Minimal Experience: One (1) year custodial/cleaning experience Preferred Experience: Four (4) years of experience in the operation of motorized cleaning equipment Four (4) years of general custodial experience.
