Performs troubleshooting, installation, and modification of increasingly complex electrical and control systems including but not limited to, components such as mechanical relays, solid-state relays, programmable logic controllers, Ethernet networking switches and infrastructure, temperature controllers, thermocouples, heaters and refrigeration units, variable frequency drives, AC synchronous motors, motor starters, contactors, potentiometers, timers, circuit protection devices, and pneumatically and electrically driven valves. Electrical and Controls Technician will have gained full proficiency in two or more of the core skills to perform the above work, including, but not limited to, proficiency in use of electrical measurement devices (Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers, Megohmmeter and associated troubleshooting devices), increasing understanding of physical electrical laws and relationships, safety requirements and procedures (e.g.
