Responsibilities: • Maintains clean patient environment as well as crew quarters • Ensures safe operation of patient laden stretcher employing appropriate stretcher discipline at all times • Maintains safe loading, unloading, adjustment of head of stretcher, and stretcher movement • Reflects a positive attitude to the customer in a high stress environment at all times, with a clear understanding of who the customer is • Reports injuries and completes the appropriate documentation, no matter how minor, to a supervisor in a timely manner • Maintains fitness for duty by adhering to all employee health requirements, including maximum weight, hearing conservation program, and required medical screenings • Participates constructively in the peer-review driven quality improvement program • Performs all assigned duties, including daily, weekly, monthly, or other duties assigned by the base site manager, including: • Responsible for the safe operation of the transport vehicle and ensures a safe environment for patient and other healthcare workers in and around CEM vehicles • Completes all official documentation in a timely manner such as payroll, expense reports, orientation forms, etc. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: North Central Pennsylvania and Central Pennsylvania allow for the Emergency Vehicle Operator (EMSVO certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire NIMS Incident Command, NIMS Single Resources, NIMS Introduction Course Advanced Emergency Medical Technician OR Emergency Medical Technician (EMT OR Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic OR Paramedic Automotive Insurance Basic Life Support (BLS OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR Drivers License Emergency Vehicle Operator Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting Act 33 Act 34 Act 73 FBI Clearance.
