About the Role: As a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will lead service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects. You will help train and mentor service technicians and contract technicians. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - You will maintain and oversee material handling equipment (MHE) and facility equipment, such as Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems - You will lead a team of service technicians and develop training plans, as well as oversee vendors making planned and emergency repairs - You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc. - You will create and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used, as well as develop job plans for emergency repair of critical assets- - You must be able to move up to 49lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and without limitation, as well as perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head Please note that while we strive to accommodate employees' preferences for shift assignments, due to operational requirements and scheduling constraints, we cannot guarantee a specific shift assignment. <h3>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</h3>- High school or equivalent diploma - 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays - 4+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience - 4+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment experience - 4+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics experience - 4+ years of electrical and electronic principles experience - 4+ years of demonstrating safety standards experience - 4+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE) experience <h3>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h3>- Associate's degree in Mechatronics or a related technical field - Experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech lead - Experience working with material handling equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with OEM requirements - 2+ years of programmable logic controls (PLC) programming experience - 2+ years of robotics system components and controls experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Position Location:
This position is located in Blackstone, VA and is contingent upon contract award.

Job Overview:
The Senior Environmental Health and Safety Professional is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing  safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies. This position provides direction, guidance, and technical expertise to promote safe work practices and reduce risk. The Senior EHS Professional supports site leadership by conducting audits, reviewing incident trends, and recommending corrective actions to prevent accidents and improve performance. 

Responsibilities:
Essential Job Duties:<ul><li>Manages safety programs, policies, and procedures to promote occupational safety and prevent workplace accidents. </li><li>Analyzes safety metrics to evaluate and track program performance, identifies trends, and ensures operational alignment with safety objectives.</li><li>Implements processes and standards to inspect and audit the organization's procedures, facilities, and equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations and requirements.</li><li>Oversees incident investigations completed by safety personnel to ensure appropriate identification of root causes, development of preventative measures, and preparation of safety reports. </li><li>Oversees and supports implementation of safety training programs at job sites.</li><li>Participates in contract transitions to ensure safety programs are implemented appropriately.</li><li>Ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations pertaining to safety.</li><li>Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adheres to approved budgets.</li><li>Maintains extensive knowledge of OSHA standards, and familiarity with military safety standards such as EM 385.</li><li>Works across teams such as Risk, HR, and others to ensure a collaborative environment when implementing and maintaining safety programs.</li></ul> 

Job Requirements:
Mandatory:<ul><li>Secret Security Clearance.</li><li>Six to eight (6-8) years experience in environmental field.</li></ul>
