University of MiamiSr. Administrative Assistant - UHealth SoLé Mia University of MiamiSr. Administrative Assistant - UHealth SoLé MiaNorth Miami, FLAssist in organization of events such as fellowship interviews, monthly meetings, and research day(s) • Coordinate with credentialing department to assure all providers are credentialed appropriate with insurance plans • Serve as liaison between assigned providers and outreach contacts such as professional sports staff and athletes • Schedule and assist with logistics for physicals for athletes • Triage patient requests and handle escalation requests • Collaborate with other team members to track injection orders, make and adjust injection appointments, and communicate with patients about injections • Assist with obtaining insurance authorizations for orders placed by providers e.g. for medications or imaging when possible. • Education: High school diploma or equivalent • Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience • Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: • General knowledge of office procedures and operations • Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records, files, reports and correspondence • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form • Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships • Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion • Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail • Proficiency in computer software (i.e., Microsoft Office).
