Responsibilities: • Perform advanced welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, stick, and plasma cutting to repair, modify, and fabricate components and equipment • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and sketches to fabricate parts that meet operational specifications • Execute preventive maintenance (PM) and repair work on facility equipment and company assets • Conduct routine building inspections and daily rounds to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns • Support maintenance and operation of critical systems, including UPS, generators, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems • Assist with general facility maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, drywall, painting, and basic electrical work • Collaborate with internal technicians and external vendors to complete maintenance, repairs, and upgrades • Participate in special projects, facility improvements, and meeting/event setup as needed • Utilize IWMS or similar systems to track, manage, and document work orders and completed tasks • Maintain compliance with all safety procedures, including PPE usage and lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols • Provide on-call support for emergencies on a rotating schedule and respond to urgent maintenance needs • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong communication with team members and stakeholders. The Senior Welder/Fabricator Technician is responsible for performing advanced welding, fabrication, and maintenance work to support facility operations and equipment reliability.
