You will focus on the biochemical characterization of therapeutic proteins at all stages of drug development, developing and implementing LC/MS-based methods for protein primary structure elucidation - including peptide mapping, disulfide linkage determination, carbohydrate profiling, post-translational modifications, sequence variant analysis, charge and size variant characterization, and host-cell protein analysis. Develop LC-MS based bioanalytical strategies and high-throughput methods for quantitation of biomarkers and different types of drug candidates, including small molecules, peptides, oligonucleotides, monoclonal antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and other alternative novel modalities in biological matrices, to support preclinical and early-stage clinical PK studies.
