Skills required: Must have experience with: coding in object-oriented programming languages (Spring Boot and C#) and their associated frameworks and libraries for web development; implementing and overseeing cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS platforms, using Kubernetes, virtual machines, Traffic Manager, Load Balancer, VPC, Logic Apps, CloudWatch, and SQL databases (Postgres, Oracle and MySQL); container-based deployments utilizing Docker, including handling Docker images, Docker Hub, Docker registries, and deploying containers to Kubernetes clusters; designing, building, and sustaining CI/CD pipelines, enabling seamless automation of micro-services deployment processes, optimizing development workflows, and ensuring consistent and reliable software releases; developing Python and Bash scripts to automate repetitive tasks and creating monitoring and alerting tools for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems; managing and querying SQL databases (MySQL, Postgres and Oracle); developing and operating metrics, logging and tracing data collection, transportation, aggregation, and visualization using Prometheus and Grafana; utilizing software development methodologies (Agile and Scrum) and issue tracking systems (JIRA and ServiceNow) for project management, including status transitions, issue types, and automation rules to align with project requirements to monitor performance; using Splunk for log management, analysis, and monitoring in DevOps environment; implementing and troubleshooting Azure resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to manage, analyze performance, and resolve issues; developing and integrating automations utilizing Spring Boot framework. Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year of experience in software engineering or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering and 3 years of experience in software engineering or related area.
