MAJOR ACTIVITIES: Maintain inventory of shipping supplies through cycle counts and reorder as needed Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for quality and quantity Stock, pick, and deliver materials to the production floor Manage and complete shipping and receiving documentation accurately Use ERP systems to retrieve and process shipping information Perform inventory control tasks including storage, cycle counting, and verification Review shipping reports to consolidate shipments and reduce costs Obtain carrier quotes and coordinate pickups, including delays when necessary Safely operate material handling equipment Perform packing, labeling, and boxing duties Support additional tasks as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS: High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to operate material handling and packaging equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, UPS, and FedEx shipping systems Experience with ERP systems Knowledge of export shipping and billing requirements (air and ground) Familiarity with stockroom and inventory procedures Strong organizational and planning skills Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Associate can report any hazards and concerns to the Illinois Department of Labor by call the Department s Day and Temporary Labor Services Act toll-free hotline at 1-877-314-7052 or email at DOL.DayLabor@illinois.gov Description: SHIFT & PAY: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM Pay Rate: $22.00/hour Location: Batavia PURPOSE OF JOB: Maintain accurate inventory records and manage shipping and receiving operations, including exports, inventory control, bill of lading items, consolidated shipments, and freight claims.
