Candidates must have a 10-year MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) with no recent tickets or accidents._ Please bring it with you to the interview._ Benefits Include: <ul><li>Paid training</li><li>Opportunity for advancement</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>And more</li></ul>Schedule Requirements: <ul><li>10-12 hour shifts</li><li>3 to 5 shifts per week</li><li>Flexible schedule - must be available to start as early as 5:00am and end as late as 7:00pm</li><li>Holidays</li><li>Part Time Monday – Saturday, with occasional Sundays</li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>25 years of age and older.</li><li>Possess a valid Driver’s License</li><li>Possess a clean 10 year MVR (Motor Vehicle Background) with no recent tickets or accidents. Must bring in with interview.</li><li>Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check (No arrest record)</li><li>Ability to pass a DOT Physical</li><li>Ability to pass a Drug Screen</li><li>Ability to pass a Defensive Driving Course and PASS Course</li><li>Ability to maintain hands on CPR/1st/AED Certification</li><li>Ability to maintain hands on Wheelchair Certification</li><li>Must possess a cell phone - Android or Iphone .</li><li>Must have a high school diploma or GED.</li><li>Driving experience, preferably as a bus driver or van driver</li><li>Familiarity with paratransit services, if applicable</li><li>Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, if required</li><li>Experience in shuttle driving or delivery driving is a plus</li></ul>Job Duties and Skills: <ul><li>Safely transport passengers or goods to their destinations in a timely manner</li><li>Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle</li><li>Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle</li><li>Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, if applicable</li><li>Communicate effectively with passengers and address any concerns or questions they may have</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Ability to follow GPS and use critical thinking to locate addresses.</li><li>Ability to follow directions.</li><li>Punctuality: show up to work on time</li><li>Prolonged periods of sitting in vehicle</li><li>Ability to perform considerable reaching, stooping, and bending.</li><li>Hearing and vision abilities with normal range to drive safely and to observe and communicate with clients.</li><li>Regular exposure to injuries and illness</li><li>Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.</li><li>Transporting members to and from doctor’s appointments, treatment centers, hospitals, programs, and pharmacies</li><li>Operate wheelchair lifts as needed.</li><li>Adhere to company policies and protocol.</li><li>Must adhere to all federal, state and agency rules regarding HIPAA</li></ul>Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
