Tutoring at San Juan College could include: Class visits (promoting the Tutoring Center), work with instructors to tutor/enhance classroom and/or workshop setting (requires specialized training), group tutoring/study sessions, create manipulatives and other materials for classes or subjects, assist with developing promotional and training materials. All tutors are evaluated at minimum once each semester on multiple things including: length of employment, CRLA level, level of education or training, number of subjects able to tutor, whether the tutor complies with the Tutoring Center and San Juan College policies, procedures, and guidelines.
