For provisional appointment, candidates must be meet the following minimum qualifications: A bachelors degree in historic preservation, museum studies, education, history, American studies, anthropology, or architectural history; AND two years of general experience* in museum or historic site operations involving education, research, exhibition, and/or collection management including accessioning, cataloging, inventory, and object care/handling; AND one year of administrative experience* (budgeting, planning, directing, and/or supervision) at a historic house, historic site, historic park, historic section of a museum, or with a governmental agency or program having responsibility for historic houses, museums, historic sites, or historic parks.
