Uses tools and equipment such as electronic computer scanners and laptops to diagnostic mechanical equipment, tire changers, alignment, vehicle lifts, welding machines, cutting torque, bench grinders, pressure washers, overhead crane, hoists, floor jacks, and a variety of hand and power tools. The duties of MECHANIC III include but are not limited to: Perform preventative maintenance activities to Light Duty, Medium, and Heavy-Duty vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to oil and filters change, servicing of lubricant and fluid levels, component wear inspection, and systems testing.
