The role will collaborate closely with the Marketing team and other functional teams and colleagues to develop and implement social media strategies that align with our brand goals and drive engagement including: comprehensive social media plans; strengthen internal and external positioning; work with external agencies to expand awareness of C2C's expertise around childhood and family poverty, clothing needs and distribution, connecting communities, and leading the #EndClothingInsecurity movement across all our work. Cradles to Crayons takes a two-pronged approach to mitigating Clothing Insecurity:
- In-person Engagement-through tens of thousands of children and adults volunteering at our Giving Factory warehouses to sort and package high volumes of new and like-new donations from our communities for our Service Partners to distribute to the children they serve.
ul>Operate as a true social algorithm hacker, translating platform mechanics (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, retail media video) into creative advantage. You will be responsible for developing and executing content that is engineered for distribution; optimized in real time; rooted in audience behavior; connected to business outcomes.
The candidate will also work closely with anchors and reporters to create content and promote best practices and uniformity to continue to grow our social footprint. The candidate will work closely with all facets of the newsroom and will assist in finding news and curating user-generated content.
Essential Duties: Plan, create and post engaging, authentic content for the university's social media channels with a focus on platform-native, short-form videos and photos that can be completed and posted quickly on tight deadlines (especially for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube shorts). As a key member of the Strategic Communications team reporting to the Associate Director for Social Media, you'll collaborate with creators across the university to show the authentic story of what makes Bentley one of the top business universities in the country and a great place to live, learn and grow.
li>Proficiency with content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or Canva, as well as social media management and analytics platforms like Sprout or Hootsuite. - Conceptualize, capture and produce social-first content including short-form video (Reels, UGC-style content), photography and social graphics.
