Tracking and maintaining database of donations and donor engagement activities in Donor Perfect for the purpose of donor development, strategic asks, minimizing donor fatigue and ensuring donor commitments are metCoordinating events and fundraising activities in collaboration with CEO, Community Outreach Manager, and Development and Outreach Committee of the BoardDeveloping and coordinating internal and external communications as assigned by supervisor and/or CEODeveloping and maintaining social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and other social media outlets as determined by Management TeamResponsible for photo and text documentation of organizational activities, fundraisers, and other events for historical and social media purposesSupporting the fundraising process and reporting receipts and disbursements of funds in relation to the fundraising processOther duties as assignedRequirements Bachelor's degree in communications, digital humanities or related field preferred Knowledge of sexual assault/domestic violence issues and previous training on those issues preferred Strong people and organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and give attention to detail Ability to communicate orally in conversation both in person and by telephone Ability to work well with people from a variety of racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, sexual orientation, and age groups, and with individuals who are differently-abled Ability to deal with stress-related situations Ability to interact with others and remain focused while dealing with multiple objectives and timelines Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work in a team setting and embrace the concept of teamwork A demonstrated commitment to inclusivity and non-violence through previous volunteer work or employment preferred Must be able to work varied hours, including some evenings and occasional weekend hours Willingness to complete the required 65-hours of training for the position within 6-months of employment Must be able to work independently Must have current driver's license, car with current automobile insurance, and a willingness to travelThis position requires background checks through DCFS and Illinois State Police.
