In order to qualify for this position, you must have an eight (8) year combination of education and/or experience that includes a bachelor's degree in public health, health education, communications, social services, or a closely related field -AND- four (4) years of experience with developing and maintaining positive relationships with community organizations or private business professional organizations on health-related outreach or advocacy efforts, ideally in the State of Maine. As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will be responsible for working with the Office of the Health Insurance Marketplace (OHIM) leadership (Director, COO, Policy & Outreach Director) to lead community outreach activities, build and coordinate partnerships, represent the office at events, and recruit and develop member testimonials.
