For new nursing program graduates or experienced nurses new to a specialty area: All required specialty-specific and advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, as applicable to practice area) must be obtained within six (6) months of hire. For experienced nurses hired directly into a specialty area: Evidence of current required certifications for the position (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, as applicable to practice area) at the time of hire.
