Responds to urgent and emergency situations; leads assigned staff during emergency response; carries out physician orders within scope of practice; documents events, interventions, notifications, and outcomes; and ensures appropriate leadership notification after hours or on weekends. Communicates professionally and effectively with residents, families, physicians, medical providers, nursing staff, community leadership, and other departments, including pharmacy, laboratory, dietary, social services, activities, facilities, radiology, and information technology.
