This position engages in regular and systematic communication with prospective students with disabilities, including making initial contact, following up on inquiries and providing information and presentations as requested; attends local education agencies' (LEAs) events, builds relationships that benefit the college with LEA staff and justice system partners and informs them of changes in academic and student onboarding; coordinates and/or provides supportive services to facilitate academic persistence and success of students with disabilities. The SECUs definition of immediate family member, which includes the employees parents, spouse, natural, step, adopted and foster children, grandparents, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, parents of spouse, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, aunts and uncles, and nieces and nephews, is used in the implementation of this policy.
