Plans, coordinates, and oversees, traffic studies in order to investigate issues with signs, pavement markings, street lighting, traffic signal warrants, school zones, railroad crossings, pedestrian crossings, lane widening, road construction review, accident analysis, etc. to ensure roadway safety and compliance to federal and local rules and guidelines. Communicates with coworkers, supervisors, governmental agencies or departments, private contractors, and members of the public using verbal, written, and electronic communication in order to identify and solve problems related to the flow of traffic.
