KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, administer, and support application integration solutions aligned with business processes Support and maintain EnergyIP Meter Data Management system Implement and manage J2EE application server platforms for web-based applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project work packages Guide business units and vendors in designing, testing, documenting, and implementing integration architectures Provide 2nd level support including proactive and reactive performance management for critical systems Monitor system performance, analyze data, and proactively identify potential issues Respond to real-time alerts and resolve performance-related problems Automate system administration tasks and scripting activities Ensure 24x7 system availability with participation in on-call rotation Perform complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and solution implementation Maintain system and network security including access controls and file integrity Support services and ensure proper issue escalation procedures Cross-train team members on new designs and solutions Communicate technical solutions effectively to stakeholders Perform additional duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Strong experience with Enterprise Application Integration tools such as IBM MQ, IBM WebSphere, IBM ACE, MuleSoft, Tomcat, WebLogic, ActiveMQ, Kafka, and EnergyIP Experience in at least 7 of the following areas: Administration and performance tuning (IBM ACE, MuleSoft) Messaging systems (IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka) Integration development (IBM MQ/ACE, custom nodes) API development and management Application server administration (Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere) High availability system installations Programming (Java or ABAP) JVM tuning Service-oriented architecture (SOAP, WSDL) RESTful services (RAML, Swagger) Database administration (Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop) Scripting (Perl, Shell, XSLT, DataWeave, SQL) Working knowledge of project management concepts and tools Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities across projects Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Proficiency in MS Office tools Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Valid driving record PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Information Systems or related field Utility industry experience CERTIFICATIONS: IBM ACE Certification MuleSoft Certification Education: Bachelors Degree Certification: IBM ACE , MuleSoft The role focuses on ensuring system availability, reliability, performance, and security across integration platforms and J2EE application servers, while supporting Meter Data Management systems and business-critical operations.
