From answering the crisis hotline and welcoming families into shelter to helping with transportation, daily activities, meal preparation, and the many details that keep shelter life running smoothly, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, supportive environment where survivors can begin to heal and move forward. You'll respond to crisis calls, assist with shelter intake, provide crisis intervention and safety planning, support residents throughout their shelter stay, coordinate transportation, assist with meal preparation and cleanup, and help clients stay connected to their daily goals and activities.
