Ensure all training content and activities are in alignment with VEG culture, mission, and vision, and represent accurate, up-to-date sonographic techniques Track doctor and nursing team skills with a VEG Ultrasound Certificate checklist Engage in self-reflection and program evaluation practices to modify and enhance VEG's ultrasound training programs Regularly meet with the medical directors, nursing trainer, and director of radiology education to discuss program development, training objectives, and additional needs Regularly meet with the hospital manager and medical director to discuss implementation of new training protocols, training schedules, hospital training needs, and team concerns Coordinate weekly schedule to work on the floor shifts with the hospital manager and medical director and devote time to training responsibilities May assist in developing ultrasound curriculum material, such as PowerPoints, videos, simulations, and assessments to be implemented across the doctor and nursing team training programs May provide educational demonstrations for doctors and nurses at other VEGs, including ultrasound topics, such as abdominal, thoracic, cardiac, cervical, and musculoskeletal studies.
