Job Title: Client Fetal Medical Sonographer Profession: Client Fetal Medical Sonographer Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Two years of MFM perinatal scanning experience License: - American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) - Sonography (S) or ARDMS registry is required - AHA BLS Certifications: - Required Certifications: AHA BLS, American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or ARDMS - Preferred Certifications: Fetal ECG, NT certification Must-Have: - Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment - Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite Description: Performs a variety of perinatal ultrasound procedures utilizing high-frequency sound waves to evaluate internal organs and vessels for the diagnosis of disease in utero. Meets the needs of the patient, family, and multi-disciplinary team through effective communication, coordination, and documentation ensuring safety, care, courtesy, and efficiency.
