We help give clothing and textiles a second life through sorting, processing, and distribution operations that support a more sustainable future.</p><h2>Position Summary</h2><p>We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Clothing Sorters. This role is responsible for sorting and classifying clothing and textile items according to established quality, category, and destination standards. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, can maintain focus in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy and productivity.</p><h2>Essential Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Sort clothing and textile items by category, quality, type, size, and destination.</li><li>Inspect items for defects, damage, stains, or other quality concerns.</li><li>Separate and identify items that do not meet company standards.</li><li>Maintain productivity and accuracy goals throughout the workday.</li><li>Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe.</li><li>Follow company safety policies and operational procedures.</li><li>Assist with general warehouse and production support tasks as needed.</li><li>Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods of time.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.</li><li>Dependable attendance and punctuality.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Previous experience in warehouse, production, retail, garment handling, or sorting environments.</li><li>Familiarity with clothing brands and garment quality standards.</li><li>Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.</li><li>Experience meeting productivity or performance goals.</li></ul><h2>Work Environment</h2><ul><li>Warehouse and production environment.</li><li>Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.</li><li>Fast-paced and team-oriented workplace.</li></ul><h2>What We Offer</h2><ul><li>Competitive pay</li><li>Weekly pay</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Stable, full-time employment</li><li>Supportive team environment</li><li>On-the-job training</li></ul><h3></h3>

Some areas require ascending/descending stairs to reach/leave work area. Must be able to stay as required by the supervisor up to 5:30 pm w/minimum notice; Saturday work is sometimes required as well.

<p><b><u>ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></b></p><ul><li>Classify used items according with a grade description using Proper use of sorting methods and techniques</li><li>Must be able to stay as required by the supervisor up to 5:30 pm w/minimum notice; Saturday work is sometimes required as well.</li><li>Other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><ul><li>Toss items into containers based on Grade Descriptions.</li><li>Sort quantities required by production standards for the area.  A minimum acceptable production level is set for each area.</li><li>Meet quality expectations.</li><li>Perform the morning stretch and strengthening exercises prior to the beginning of work at 6:55 and after lunch break.</li><li>Basic knowledge of brand names, apparel fashion and/or interests.<p/></li></ul><p><b><em>NOTE:  The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by this position.  They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties required of personnel so classified.</em></b></p><p><b><u>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & </u></b><b><u>WORKING CONDITIONS:</u></b></p><ul><li>Heaviest items weighs approximately 10 lbs.</li><li>Work at a station where there is some turning, tossing and some bending.</li><li>The average weight of a garment is 10 lbs. Or less.</li><li>This is a stand up position job, working up to 10 hours at times.</li><li>Quality jobs require good vision.</li><li>Walk to and from your workstation</li><li>Squatting and Bending down</li><li>Walk up and down Stairs</li><li>Sweep with a broom 5 minute intervals</li><li>Use of safety equipment assigned per workstation</li><li>Airborne lint is moderate.  Dust masks and safety glasses are furnished upon request and required in some positions.</li><li>Some areas require ascending/descending stairs to reach/leave work area. Workstations are well lit and ventilated for air or heat circulation.</li></ul>
