The Facilities Maintenance Specialist identifies and reports unsafe conditions, supports facility renovations and space changes, coordinates assigned outside maintenance services, and handles facility waste streams in accordance with safety, environmental, and organizational requirements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Inspect buildings, structures, fixtures, equipment, and facility systems to identify malfunctions, needed repairs, unsafe conditions, defective equipment, and other hazards; promptly report conditions that require specialized service or leadership attention.
