The successful applicant is expected to teach across a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, particularly those designed to support special educators’ professional learning in the areas of behavior and academic supports and interventions; support collaborative efforts in program development and continuous improvement; disseminate their scholarship of teaching at professional conferences and through appropriate publications; and engage in service to the program, school, college, university, and profession. Cutting-edge interdisciplinary research and public scholarship—often conducted in partnership with other UF colleges, school districts and communities across the state and nation—are yielding powerful learning systems and models that are helping to transform education in today’s changing world, starting with our youngest learners.
