Serving as liaison between MDTP, schools and other agencies; working effectively with students, parents, colleagues, community agencies and staff; collecting and analyzing data and maintaining program activity databases; compiling and drafting reports related to program activities; interpreting administrative regulations and policies and recommending new and improved programs within MDTP; analyzing, synthesizing, maintaining and disseminating pertinent, current information from the Florida Department of Education on pertinent state and federal policies and laws and related educational policies, programs and procedures; preparing reports and maintaining all appropriate records as required and in a timely manner. Proficiency in communicating results of evaluation findings in written and oral formats to assist students, parents, and school personnel to identify effective approaches to address communication (articulation & oral language), learning, and behavior problems that are impacting academic progress.
