p>The Speech Language Pathologist plans and provides individualized treatment programs for patients across inpatient, outpatient, ALC, and Skilled Nursing settings. Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time| Cayuga, NY (Finger Lakes region of New York State).
Supervises associate directors and assigned staff, interviews, selects and directs orientation of new staff, completes performance evaluations, acts as a liaison with medical staff regarding patient needs, completes budget needs, adheres to policies and procedures, is responsible for all aspects of patient treatment of assigned caseload, and participation in hospital committees. Minimum Qualifications:
NYS licensed & registered Physical Therapist with Doctor of Physical Therapy OR NYS licensed & registered Occupational Therapist with Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy OR NYS licensed & registered Speech Language Pathologist with Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
p>Job Summary: The Speech Language Pathologist - Weekend will be responsible for direct patient care, including assessment and treatment of swallowing, feeding, speech, language, and cognitive disorders covering the spectrum of inpatient diagnoses including stroke, head trauma, head and neck cancer, chronic airway disorder, and related disorders; and services for speech, language, and swallowing in a medically based practice; pediatric to geriatric patient populations.
