Under the general direction of the Aquatics Manager, serves as a lifeguard at the community pools. td> Under the general supervision of the Recreation Superintendent, the Special Events Coordinator supervises and coordinates all aspects of assigned special events for the City (i.e. Art City Days, Arts Festival, Holiday Festival, Movies & Concerts in the Park, and others). Acts as the liaison between event committees and the City; bidding services and coordinating with other divisions in Parks & Recreation department as well as other departments within the city as necessary.td> - Teaches scheduled classes or training periods, beginning and ending on time; (provides adequate warm-up, exercise, stretching, and cool down for exercise classes).
