Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Move and/or deliver furniture and other large pieces of equipment; Maintain the school's grounds, including lawns, athletic fields, shrubs, flowerbeds, and trees; Maintain the school's roadways, walkways and parking areas, which will include snow removal, ice control, patching, leveling and painting, and performing minor maintenance on equipment used; Assist the journey-level trades personnel; Work independently on tasks assigned including minor plumbing, heating, electrical, and carpentry projects; Maintain inventory and provide requests for materials and equipment in a timely manner; and. Fingerprinting through the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Division of Criminal Justice Services, a background check with the Office of Children and Family Services and clearance from the Justice Center Staff Exclusion List is required for employment.
