Education/ Experience: Bachelor's degree, including 30 semester hours in any combination of courses in the following fields: environmental science (preferred), biological sciences, microbiology, chemistry, physical sciences, environmental engineering, or related fields. The position works closely with the Garland Police Department to remove encampments, pursues compliance for encampments on private property, tracks cleanup costs and encampment data, conducts public education and outreach, and evaluates programs and practices for improvement.
