- Life Care Center Hilo is looking for a hardworking, kind hearted, responsible individual to take over the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) position here.
- Perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: nursing care, supervisory responsibilities,, infection control, patient rights, and safety and sanitation.

Founded in 1921, Straub Benioff Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawaii.
p>Under the supervision of the Patient Care Manager, the Nurse Case Manager serves our patients by utilizing principles of palliative care and holistic philosophy to provide care that reflects skilled nursing judgment, medical necessity, measurable patient caregiver, and reasonable goals. Ability to set priorities, research, problem-solve, and make independent decisions with minimal supervision by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions within the scope of the job.
The hospital is home to the Kapiolani Womens Center and the Womens Cancer Center and offers numerous community programs and services such as specialty pediatric clinics the Kapiolani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawaii and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care.
li>With a laboring patient: assist anesthesia in administration of intrathecal or epidural, monitoring PCA pump, attending C-Sections and taking care of the newborn, recovering patients after a C-Section or BTL, hanging IV fluids, or IVPB medications. Monitoring a laboring patient on Cytotec, intrauterine pressure catheter (IUPC), internal scalp electrode (ISE) having a amnioinfusion, and assisting a physician with doing a external cephalic version (ECV).
