One on One staff meetings, and organ donation case reviews and staff debrief • Continuing Education and training activities • Ongoing Competency evaluations, and staff PIPs collaboration with DCO • Serve as conduit between staff and leadership for personnel needs, and provide support to staff to encourage idea sharing and develop new processes • Organ Procurement Coordinator and Preservationists schedule completion • Collaboration with DCO for OPTN data submission • Clinical medical supply Inventory management • Maintain clinical equipment (Hemosphere, ORS LifePort Pumps, etc.) • Performance Data collection with reporting to leadership • Participate on the Administrator on Call (AOC) team • Drive organ donor case efficiency with real-time monitoring and staff collaboration • Assist and educate staff as needed during case activity, and use data to determine trends in local donation activity and staff performance • Monitor regulatory (CMS/OPTN) compliance of case activity, and collaborate with DCO and AOC team for necessary case approvals • Participate in referral review activities, focused on increasing Donation and Transplantation Rate • Monitor OPTN systems for changes and assist DCO in policy implementation/education • Provide authorization coaching to requestors, and participate in and facilitate meetings as appropriate • Alongside DCO, foster relationships between transplant center stakeholders and CDTP • Participate in clinical field activities including On-call duties as directed by CDT Leadership • Support Quality and Hospital Development departments, and participate in QAPI activities as assigned • Address and redirect issues to appropriate leadership team members • Participate in Hospital Development activities as needed, including stakeholder engagement • Complete QA tasks related to post-procurement follow ups, and participate in CQI committee and assist DCO with CAPA process • Work with staff and contracted staff to maintain competency and adherence to CDT and regulatory policy. • Bachelors Degree in related field - required • Masters Degree in related field - preferred • 4-6 years of Organ Procurement Coordinator clinical experience - required • 4-6 years of RN/BSN/MSN and/or Paramedic experience in Critical Care Setting - required • 4-6 years of previous management or Charge RN experience - preferred • High attention to detail and time management skills • Office 365 Competency • OPO EMR/OPTN systems and Data knowledge • Previous management experience preferred • Ability to work in a high stake/stress environment • Willingness to participate in on-call activities • Strong knowledge of medical terminology • Ability to provide coaching and feedback to personnel.
