Participate in the development and administration of the Maintenance Engineering Department budget, including forecasting staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies with specific focus on electrical and HVAC system reliability, preventive maintenance, and lifecycle replacement needs; monitor expenditures and recommend approvals or adjustments. Select, train, motivate, and evaluate supervisory and line-level trades staff, including electricians and HVAC technicians; provide or coordinate technical training in electrical systems, controls, and commercial HVAC equipment; and implement corrective action, discipline, and termination procedures within company guidelines.
