The primary purpose of this Staff Development Specialist II position is to plan, organize, instruct, and direct Broughton Hospital's General Hospital Orientation (GHO) for new employees, which includes creating, editing, and maintaining all training content and assisting with other trainings as needed. It is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians, providing human service needs for special populations including individuals who are deaf, blind, developmentally disabled, and mentally ill, and helping poor North Carolinians achieve economic independence.
