They will also be responsible for the cleaning of the kitchen areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, trash removal, and wiping down counter surfaces. What you will be doing: <ul><li>Empty and wash garbage cans. </li><li>Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen. </li><li>Maintain proper storage of dish dollies, glass racks and flatware. </li><li>Maintain work areas clean and organized. </li><li>Report all unsafe conditions immediately. </li><li>Store plates on hot and cold lines for cooks. </li><li>Wash, organize and inventory china, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots and pans per standards. </li><li>Assist in dish set up for banquets. </li><li>Clean and monitor dish machine as needed. </li><li>Help in setting up lunch buffet and happy hour buffet. </li><li>Sweep and mop walk in refrigerators, kitchen areas. </li><li>Understand and provide chemicals and supplies for station. </li><li>Attend all mandatory meetings. </li></ul><ul><li>Cover plate dollies and return all carts to storage area. </li><li>Polish silver and copper. </li><li>Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training. </li></ul>What are we looking for? A Utility Steward is responsible for transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and service ware in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.What will I be doing?As a Steward, you would be responsible for transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and service ware in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: <ul><li>Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher to clean all chinaware, silverware and cooking utensils</li><li>Scrub pots and pans</li><li>Burnish, de-tarnish and polish silver</li><li>Stock and maintain supplies and equipment</li><li>Perform cleaning duties including, but not limited to, mopping and removing trash</li><li>Transport and store clean service ware</li><li>Train other stewards, as needed</li><li>Prepare and place clean service ware for events and functions</li></ul> What are we looking for?Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry.
