Consistent with UCF Regulation 3.0177, Instructional Designers are non-tenure-track, in-unit faculty whose critical responsibilities encompass three areas of online and blended education at UCF: pedagogical partnerships, faculty development programming, and course quality assurance and designation. The additional screening requirements only apply to research-related positions, including, but not limited to faculty, graduate positions, individuals compensated by research grants or contract funds, post-doctoral positions, undergraduate positions, visiting assistant professors, and visiting research associates.
