POSITION: ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN – (HOSE TESTING AND VALIDATION) REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT EMPLOYMENT STATUS: FULL-TIME – EXEMPT PRIMARY POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Engineering Technician is responsible for conducting performance, durability, and qualification testing of thermoplastic and rubber high-pressure hoses, hose assemblies, and related products. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct testing on a wide range of thermoplastic and rubber high-pressure hoses and hose assemblies including proof, burst, impulse, leakage, UV, Ozone, environmental flexibility, and others as applicable • Conduct dimensional, visual, and physical inspections of hoses, fittings, and completed assemblies.
