This role spans new product development, launch, and sustaining production: bringing suppliers in early, securing supply for prototype and pilot builds, readying the supply base and contract manufacturers for launch, and managing cost, capacity, and supplier performance once products are in production. Develop and execute sourcing strategies for energy storage components, including enclosures, battery modules and racks, battery management systems, thermal management, fire suppression, busbars, cabling, and electrical balance-of-system.
