This position requires cross function, multi-discipline skills, including knowledge of: architectural, building envelope, civil, structural, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, other infrastructure and critical systems as they relate to the Groton shipyard and ancillary sites within Connecticut. Responsibilities include engineering and developing the scope of work, preparing bid documents, vendor selection, securing internal funding, preparing purchase requisitions and in field project management of contractors and engineering design agents.
