That is work that matters.No two days are exactly alike-but here is a snapshot of how you will make an impact:Provide student support through student facing environments.Coordinate and process Vocational Rehabilitation awards before each academic yearTrack, bill, and reconcile VR payments in accordance with state and federal regulationsCommunicate regularly with Financial Aid Services and Accounting leadershipMonitor billing inboxes (and respond within 48 hours)Assist with semester check‑ins, disbursements, and student account supportMaintain clean, accurate records using Jenzabar and Excel spreadsheetsSupport a paperless, tech‑forward student account environmentJump in as backup support for deposits, phones, and student account inquiriesWe are seeking someone who brings both technical skill and heart to the role:<ul><li>Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience</li><li>Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and Jenzabar experience a plus.</li><li>Ability to work well with students, families, and campus partners.</li><li>A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a mission‑driven institution.</li><li>Experience with higher education or vocational rehabilitation funding is a plus.</li></ul>ENVIRONMENT:The work environment characteristics described here are a representation of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
