The selected candidate will support billing, expense tracking, inventory management, and cost analysis while maintaining accurate records across multiple databases. The ideal candidate is a motivated USU accounting student who can work independently in a hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities:<ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-left:8px">Performs monthly billing for labor hours and tests requests to appropriate customers</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Tracks consumable inventory and order parts and equipment as needed</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Assists with cost projections and equipment use rate derivation</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Tracks and verifies all service center and cleanroom operations expenses</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Reconciles monthly credit card transaction reports</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;margin-left:8px">Maintains Excel and SDL internal databases</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-left:8px">Utah State University (USU) student majoring in accounting or business</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Must have a minimum of one year remaining in school through USU, including a graduate program</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Ability to work 20 hours per week during semesters and 20-40 hours per week during the summer</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Self-motivated and able to follow directions</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Ability to work with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Strong verbal and written communications skills</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Ability to effectively work independently </li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;margin-left:8px">Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or other US person</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Junior level or higher</li></ul>Work Environment & Physical Requirements:<ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px;margin-left:8px">Must be able to stock and maintain inventory (e.g., pushing carts, stocking items, etc.)</li></ul> Student Scholar Program: SDL provides unique opportunities for student employees to develop real-world experience and knowledge beyond the classroom through our Student Scholar Program. Qualifications:
