<p>We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented <strong>Accounting Intern</strong> to join our Accounting team. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting day-to-day accounting operations while working alongside experienced accounting professionals in a collaborative office environment.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain practical accounting experience and develop professional skills within a growing organization.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Assist with bank account reconciliations</li><li>Process accounts payable invoices and assist with check processing</li><li>Support the review of accounts payable statements</li><li>Assist with balance sheet reconciliations alongside the Accounting Manager and Controller</li><li>Support Staff Accountants with equipment usage entry into the company ERP system</li><li>Assist with recurring monthly general ledger entries and payments</li><li>Help prepare month-end journal entries</li><li>Provide audit support as needed</li><li>Assist with special projects and other accounting-related duties as assigned</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><h3>Education & Experience</h3><ul><li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field</li><li>Basic understanding of GAAP accounting principles</li><li>Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup formulas preferred</li><li>ERP system experience is a plus, but not required</li></ul><h3>Skills & Abilities</h3><ul><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and follow-through</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines</li><li>Analytical and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook</li></ul><h2>Work Environment</h2><p>This position operates in a professional office environment with moderate noise levels and standard office equipment use.</p><h2>What You'll Gain</h2><ul><li>Real-world accounting and finance experience</li><li>Exposure to accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting</li><li>Experience working within an ERP system</li><li>Mentorship from experienced accounting professionals</li><li>Opportunity to develop professional and technical accounting skills</li></ul><p>We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, dependable, and ready to contribute to a team-oriented environment.</p><br/><br/>
