The position serves as the clinical subject matter expert for workforce and student health and supports system-wide regulatory readiness and clinical quality initiatives.<h4>Required Qualifications</h4><ul><li>Bachelor of Science
<ul><li>In Nursing (BSN) or related field</li></ul></li><li>3–5 years clinical experience in occupational or student health or a supervisory nursing role in a health system</li></ul>Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:<ul><li>Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Professional Nurse in the State of OK or eligible to become licensed prior to initiation of duties.  </li><li>Valid Driver License </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Certified as an Instructor or shortly upon hire)</li></ul>Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:<ul><li>Excellent assessment, computer, communication, writing, training, and organizational skills.  </li></ul><h4>Preferred Qualifications</h4><ul><li>Master's
<ul><li>Nurse, Certifications in Occupational Health or equivalent  </li></ul></li><li>Experience in academic medical centers or multi-site healthcare systems</li></ul>Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:<ul><li>Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN or COHN-S)</li><li>Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (Instructor preferred)</li><li>Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Support (ACLS) (Instructor preferred)  </li></ul>Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:<ul><li>Excellent clinical assessment skills; interpersonal communication skills and written planning and documentation skills. Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications/software. </li></ul>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Individuals within this job classification provide evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies consistent with student scope of practice. </li><li>They are accountable for assessing, implementing, evaluating and documenting respiratory care in accordance with HMC standards and under the direction of the department Manager in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality respiratory care. </li><li>The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) Student must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide respiratory care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit. </li><li>This individual is responsible for the administration of oxygen, various treatment modalities, and ventilator management. </li><li>He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practice Act. </li><li>Must be able to demonstrate awareness and appropriateness in the care of patient’s at end of life.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
Job Requirements: <ul><li>Must be enrolled in and attending an accredited Respiratory Therapy program in Oklahoma</li><li><div class="x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_paragraph">Must be eligible for a provisional RCP Student license</div></li></ul>
