Tomorrow, we will power checkout-free experiences anywhere you go to make the everyday experiences of living, working, and playing remarkable - giving us back our most valuable asset, time.<h4>Responsibilities</h4>Driver training to gain the knowledge and experience necessary to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL). The course and subsequently obtaining a CDL must be completed within 60 days. Complete on-site driver training courses to acquire a CDL license.  Examples of skills provided in training course: <ul><li>Effectively complete pre/post trip vehicle inspections.</li><li>Understand required equipment in vehicle such as fire extinguisher, safety triangles, and ability to correctly use a 2-way radio and use proper radio etiquette.</li><li>Obey all traffic laws and speed limits. </li><li>Learn to drive passengers; respond promptly to customer needs.</li><li>Provide information about the airport to the public and assist travelers.</li><li>Perform light cleaning inside bus (i.e. empty trash, sweep).</li><li>Assist passengers in boarding or exiting the vehicle as necessary, including operation of wheelchair lifts and restraints; under some circumstances, assist passengers with baggage.</li><li>Provide assistance to disabled passengers.</li><li>Only drive with CDL Trainer during training process while learning to recognize safety hazards and use appropriate precautions.</li></ul> <h4>Qualifications</h4> <ul><li>Less than High School education; one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.</li><li>Must be 21 years of age or older.</li><li>Must have a valid state-issued commercial driver’s permit and acceptable DMV record. </li><li>Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.</li><li>Able to pass DOT drug and alcohol test and background check. </li><li>Maintain a neat and clean appearance.</li><li>Basic math skills to include add or subtract two digit numbers, and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. </li><li>Able to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence in English. </li></ul> Physical requirements include standing, walking, use of hands to handle equipment; occasionally required to sit and climb or balance, lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
