Demonstrates thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures used in facility spaces, including patient rooms, isolation rooms, utility rooms, exam rooms, public areas, restrooms, labs, offices, classrooms, auditoriums, corridors, elevators, stairwells, ancillary areas, outer buildings, storerooms, equipment rooms, housekeeping closets, dock areas, trash areas, and outside entrance areas. May be trained to complete project cleaning if required in work assignment, including scrubbing, stripping, and burnishing hard surface floors; cleaning carpet, furniture, and mats; moving equipment and/or furniture; washing walls, ceilings, doors, floors, windows, vents, lights, trashcans, trash dumpsters, equipment, and furniture; and replacing curtains, blinds, draperies, and shower curtains as assigned.
