Pursuing a degree or minor in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, Child Development, Psychology, Speech Language Pathology, Social Work, Human Development, Family Studies, Counseling, or another discipline that supports the learning, development, health, or wellbeing of young children and families. Working under the guidance of the ECEC Administration, Lead Teachers, and Assistant Teachers, the Student Assistant contributes to high quality learning environments that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, language, and physical development through Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP), relationship-based teaching, and evidence informed instructional practices.
